As a known specialist in this type of work, Inox Equip Ltd were contacted by their client to completely revamp the out-dated catering facilities at Compton Verney. In turn, Inox engaged HVAC Kitchen Ventilation to provide a new canopy & upgrade the extract & supply distribution to the kitchen, servery & dining spaces. The canopy was to be a single-sided wall-mounted type with matching stainless steel splash-backs to the rear wall.
As with all HVAC Kitchen Ventilation projects, a design was generated which complied with industry standard documents; DW144, DW172 and BS6173.
HVAC carried out an investigative survey to establish system performance and then set about redesigning the existing system to re- utilise as many components as possible whilst maintaining compliance with all of the latest standards. A new extract & supply-air canopy was provided with integral, high temperature LED lighting and rear-wall cladding.
The distribution ductwork for Supply and extract systems were reconfigured to suit revised floor layouts and an uprated extract fan & controls were installed.
“Compton Verney Art Gallery is a full shell and core fit out completed in March 2017. This required the full re-mapping of the back and front of house catering facilitates.
This was the first of many projects with HVAC. Their remit was to redesign the kitchen and front of house ventilation around an extremely tight timescale. This saw the installation of new plant, ductwork and a new Extract/Input Canopy on site.
The technical support and finished project well exceeds our expectations and this has underpinned our commitment to HVAC resulting in awarding them 4 x further projects – A job well done!!”
