Stangard Design Solutions
As a regular client, Stangard contacted HVAC Kitchen Ventilation to provide a canopy & Services Distribution Unit for one of a series of projects they work on. The canopy was to be a single-sided island type with a matching and integrated Services Distribution Unit (SDU).
Care had to be taken in the design process because single-sided island ranges are notoriously difficult to ventilate efficiently.
As with all HVAC Kitchen Ventilation projects, a design was generated which complied with standard industry documents; DW172 and BS6173.
HVAC designed, manufactured & installed, an extract-only type canopy (from our newly Launched ZEPHYR range) with integral high temperature LED lighting and matching services distribution unit. Because of the difficulties in ventilating single-sided island ranges, we decided to incorporate our unique rear fume entrainment detail to assist with total fume capture & containment. The services distribution unit had to accommodate electrical & mechanical services to the cooking equipment with full separation and easily accessible compartmentation for installation and maintenance.
“We have used many ventilation companies in the past but find that HVAC Kitchen Ventilation consistently do a good quality job for us, on time and always at the right price.”
