Prodrive of Banbury planned for a staff café in their new state of the art premises adjacent to the M40 at Banbury. Due to the location of the building and the Landlord’s requirements, the kitchen discharge point was critical to gaining permission to go ahead with the project. In particular, the discharge grille had to be as unobtrusive as possible, match with the fabric of the building exterior and still fit within budget constraints.
HVAC engineered a system to encompass all of these requirements.
HVAC designed, manufactured and installed an extract-only system complete with intumescent door transfer grilles to ventilate the new Cookline suite in the café. This included low-noise extract fan, controller, ductwork and powder coated discharge grille in the external, front face of the building.
HVAC were able to develop the design and aesthetics of the system and in particular; the discharge grille to enable the client to gain the necessary permission to proceed with the project. As you can see, the finished result is very pleasing.
“I would be happy to recommend HVAC to any potential new customer. The recently completed project at Prodrive – Banbury was well executed, met the design & operational brief and was completed on time and within budget despite the restricted access & working times. Quality as ever was excellent and attention to detail was 1st class. Any small snags were dealt with promptly and with minimum fuss; I look forward to working with HVAC on future projects”. – Prodrive, Banbury
